NEVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF. BOXING AND MARTIAL ARTS IS
A SPORT TO KEEP YOU IN SHAPE, "I DID IT..."
His zest for adventure and his love of the outdoors were endless.
When Kristofer set his mind to something, he embraced it full force. Whether it was motorcycle riding, designing rap music,
eating a healthy diet, or studying to get the grades he wanted, his confidence and perseverance shined.
Be all you can Be
I will be leaving for the U.S. Army on Feb. 7, 2006. My active duty MOS will be Air-Born
Infantry. After I complete Air-Born school, I will learn how to properly jump from thirty-thousand feet into a hostile environment. After
that I will go to my first duty station where I will be informed on what assignment I will be performing, whether
it be in the U.S. or Overseas. I most likely will go to a hostile country which may include Iraq. Though this is a controversial
issue, it is an issue the U.S. has already been addressing. This is a problem for many both on our side and theirs. We
are taking a great risk by fighting this war. For example, if and when we leave, will the Iraqis be truly ready for any
and all that oppose them? I became more aware of the problems that we are facing in this country and others - due to
the fact that we are at a time of war. I questioned the reasons why we are at war, good and bad. I came to the conclusion
that people fighting for the U.S. are everyday people, my brother Nic included. I don't want to just sit back and
watch the casualty numbers climb. I need to do something to help out; that's why I signed up for the Army. My community
and the rest of the U.S. hopefully will benefit from my contribution in the U.S. Army as I will do my best in-order to carry
out all missions assigned to me, hopefully with no casualties. As the weeks and months go by, my departure
with the U.S. Army is fast approaching. I have noticed a change in myself. I see things differently and appreciate what
I have. I question what needs to be addressed and talk with more articulate words. I have been helping out others before
myself. I have gained an interest in being up to date with the latest news. There are always others willing to make a choice
for the greater good of society, to fight for the rights of those that need them the most, whether it
would be a fight in the field or a battle against AIDS, whatever the case may be, we need people to help those
who are oppressed, that's a fact.
With dreams of becoming a U.S. Army Ranger!
We'll I'm done with hell!
I made it!
I'm an Air Born Ranger!!!
